Trooper's Story...
Trooper is a beautiful short hair Chartreux with Gold eyes. He is estimated to be about 10-12 months old. Below is the story of his rescue from his foster: Trooper was found huddled against the inside barrier of West Bound I-30 across from Eastfield Community College two weeks ago. I exited at the next exit and had to come back down the east bound side of 30 and reach over the barrier to get him, because I was afraid if I pulled up behind him he'd bolt. He never saw me reaching for him since I came from over his head. He didn't even tense up when I grabbed the nape of his neck and charged back to my car. I dropped him unceremoniously in the front floor board and rushed to get back into the traffic flow fearing I'd be rear ended sitting on the inside shoulder. He howled a good bit, but the minute I got him home and out of the crate he began to talk to me. He was hungry and very dirty and his nails worn down to the nub. He's very sweet, loves attention and sleeping with someone. Trooper is currently in a foster home. His foster says he is very affectionate and a lap cat. He is also used to having other animals in the household. Please call or email us for more information. Adoption Fee is $300.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trooper, a Garland Chartreux cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chartreux for sale in Garland, or seeking a Chartreux cat from a breeder in Garland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chartreux breeders who help with Chartreux rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garland paves the way for another one to be saved.
