Bramble is a sweet, quiet, unassuming young lady. She is about a year and a half old, and is calm, social, and purry. She has a lioness look about her with the stripes and spots on her petite frame. Come meet this darling young kitty soon!
Bramble is listed as special needs, but she really doesn't need anything special! When she got to the shelter she tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Unfortunately there is a stigma attached to this condition so cats like Bramble are at a disadvantage when potential adopters are looking for a new kitty! The truth is, cats like Bramble that have FIV can live with other cats and can live perfectly healthy lives. The way FIV is transmitted is through very deep, aggressive bites (like Bramble probably endured out on the streets before coming to us). FIV cats do not need medication or special food, and can live long full lives without illness. The only thing they need is regular check ups and vaccinations, lots of love, and to stay indoors. Don't miss out on this sweet cat because of her diagnosis! It is not a death sentence!
