  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less

Welcome Sarah. She looks like a Corgi/Jack Russel/Cattle Dog mix. She has a full tail and the low thick frame like a corgi. She is moderately active and very smart and attentive. She weighs about 28 pounds and is a medium sized 2 year old sweetie. She is good on a leash, nice with other dogs and people. She is good with strangers and all people we have seen her with. She does well with affection and praise so that is what we recommend for her training. She was found as a stray on the streets of South Texas. We are rural and not no kill. We want to help Sarah find a home where she can have all the nice things dogs deserve that are family members. She is a gem!! Sarah is fully vetted, heartworm negative, microchipped and comes with a valid health certificate. Contact me for an application. We use a professional transport company and we help with all the details.

Act quickly to adopt Sarah. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

About Lytle Animal Care & Control CO

About Our Shelter...

We are Lytle Animal Care & Control. We take in strays and rehabilitate if needed and vet them for adoption. We transfer some to rescues locally and the others we post and market for adoption. The City funds the staff of the shelter but not the medical fund. The medical fund for all our vetting is done through donations or adoption fees. Our adoption fee is 170 and transport is 165

Come Meet Our Pets...

Look at our pets and their videos online and talk to one of the friendly volunteers, foster moms or staff. We are here to help with videos and pictures. Once the dog/cat is preadopted we are ready to send your new pet to you on transport.

Our Adoption Process...

You will complete the application and once approved we will help you with all the details. You can speak to the foster mom or the shelter staff to see if the dog is what you are looking for and is what you have in mind. We can test the dog/cat with multiple settings to determine the fit for you. Thank you for looking at our pets.
