DOB September 13, 2008. Hi! My name is Pumpkin! I have so much love to give, and I will cuddle with you all day, especially if you are sick or feeling down. I love wand toys, soft blankets, and a warm lap to snuggle up in. Even though I am 8 years old I have lots of energy and like to play - especially with catnip! I would be happiest in a single cat home where I can have you all to myself.
I was given to TCR because my original owner got sick and couldn't take care of me anymore. Now I can't wait to find my forever home!
I am super cuddly but can take a little while to warm up, so please be patient, because once I do, you'll see that I'm the best cat ever!
Are you ready to open your heart and home to an amazing senior cat? Adopt me today!

Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated versus our standard adoption fee of $175.

About Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

***ALL cats over 8 months of age have a reduced adoption fee of $100 for the month of August 2016!!***

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.
