My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. My name is CiCi. I arrived here as a stray after being found in a remote area where I had been roaming with my sister. Sadly, my sister was deceased, probably hit by a car. Not only did I lose my sister, but I also had a horrible case of fleas and had sore skin with missing fur from the flea bite infections. I also had a badly ulcerated eye. The flea problem has been taken care of and my skin is healing nicely, as is my eye. The eye may always be cloudy, but that’s better than having it removed.
I am doing well here at the rescue, and I have many canine friends of various ages, sizes and sex. I even get along well with Ned, the resident cat. I sleep in a crate at night with no trouble. Of course I would much prefer sleeping in bed with my person but if that doesn't suit my new person I will sleep in a crate for you. I love lap time! Walks on leash were new to me, but I am learning to like them now. I like company when I eat. I mean, really, who likes to eat alone! I will bark when nervous but once I know I am home I will be fine. I also bark when the other dogs bark. I have yet to play with toys. Not sure what they are about. I am not destructive. I am a good, sweet little girl. So if you are looking for a little companion that has lots of love to give, please call soon!
