Jewels's Story...
"Jewels" is a beautiful 10-month old female Labrador Retriever mix who was surrendered by her family on October4, 2016. "Jewels" has a black short smooth coat with a small patch of white on her chest, a rather long body, a long tail, and an adorable face with hopeful brown eyes, a black button nose, and long floppy ears. This little girl is good with other dogs, children, and cats. "Jewels" is merely an overgrown puppy and has the natural instincts which puppies normally have .. which includes chewing and getting into mischief :) It broke our hearts to see Jewels looking so sad and not wanting to leave her comfy bed to venture outdoors for her glamour photos, but we understand what it's like to be a frightened little girl in an unfamiliar place. We will post more flattering pictures of this little beauty when she is more relaxed and realizes that she is with her new best friends who already love her and only want to the best for her. "Jewels" is a petite girl who weighs 27 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jewels, a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
