Emmett is a sweet boy. He is full of affection, loves belly rubs, and enjoys snuggling on the couch (warning: he can snore pretty loud). He is a smart boy and learns quickly. He knows sit, stay, leave it, and kennel up commands. He is crate trained (although he’d rather be hanging with his peeps) and about 85% potty trained. He walks well on a leash and enjoys long walks especially hikes in the woods. He will pull on the leash when he meets other dogs but if you distract him by telling him what a good boy he is he will keep moving.
He takes a bath like a champ and doesn’t mind getting brushed. He gets along well with other dogs. He is very playful and can be exuberant so might not do well with really small children or older or small dogs. Emmett has a high prey drive for felines, so no cats please!
All of our animals are current on vaccinations, altered, microchipped, and heartworm-negative. They must be kept as indoor pets.
