Kenny is a little 6 pound, 7 year old purebred Poodle who was found as a stray and put on a chain. A few days later, the finder decided that she didn't want Kenny so she called a rescuer to come pick him up.
Poor Kenny - his hair was matted down to his skin, with bugs and sticks matted into his fur. It was easy to see that nobody had given Kenny the care he needed. Kenny was taken right to the groomer as shown in the pictures, and a new Kenny was born.
Kenny was probably used for breeding before he was found as a stray. Living in a house with someone who cares for him seems to be a new thing for this poor pup but he is learning more every day. The foster tells us that Kenny loves to be picked up and held, something he probably never experienced before. Foster mom is working on his housebreaking, and he is being crate trained, too. Kenny had to have some teeth removed due to his lack of care, but with lots of TLC and patience he will make a nice little pet. Kenny has now been neutered and fully vetted - he arrives on October 27th.
Due to his small size he will need to be adopted to a home without young children. If you want to give little Kenny the home & security that he so desperately needs, then fill out a application on him today. Be sure to ask for him by name - KENNY SCAS!
