Mila's Story...
Sweet kitten rescued with her brother, Otis.

Adorable Mila came to Good Sam with her sweet brother, Otis as 6 week old kittens!  They had been rescued from a feral cat community here in Denver, and are now house trained and have had their vet checkups.  Mila is the curious one, who loves to have her head rubbed and finds tiny toy mice exhilarating! Otis is a sweet boy who loves to be held and will start to purr just by making eye contact with you.

The Mila & Otis siblings will be available for adoption on October 13th, 2016.  If you are interested in adding some kitten love to your household these two would love to stay together but are young enough that they would also be ok being adopted separately.  Please call (303) 222-0081 or email adopt@goodsamrescue.org to place a hold as early as today to be able to meet them when they are ready for adoption next week!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mila, a Denver Bombay kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bombay for sale in Denver, or seeking a Bombay kitten from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bombay breeders who help with Bombay rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
