Sissy's Story...
Sonny and Sissy are 6 year old brother and sister. They are an adorable bonded pair. These two amazing dogs spent the last four years of their lives locked in a crate in a garage. They were let out of the crate 3 times a day but only within the garage. No outside, no fresh air, no grass, no meeting new friends. Incredibly they are still very trusting of humans. They love spending time with their foster family cuddling in a lap or outside walking and exploring. They get along great with other dogs but care for each other at all times. These two deserve the best in a forever home and will reward you with total love. If you might have just such a home and would like to meet Sissy and Sonny, please fill out an application found at www.RescueAChi.com and we will give you a call.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
