****PLEASE WELCOME LUCY TO WESTIE RESCUE****
Lucy came into rescue at the right time. The shelter was going to euthanize her because of her age and a heart murmur. When we were alerted about this girl, we found out she was so sweet and one look at her we knew we needed to help! Lucy is 9 yrs young and was diagnosed with a high heart murmur. What a shelter wont do, a rescue Can! We gave her HOPE!
We took Lucy to her new dogtor where they accessed her and found her to be very skinny, a murmur in her heart, and very bad teeth. Once we got Lucy on antibiotics and a better food and unconditional love, she started rallying around. Her heart in general has improved, although she will always have a heart murmur. Once Lucy was feeling better and improving, she had a dental done and she was spayed. Her dogtor has reported how much she has improved and so has her zest for life!
Lucy is a very sweet loving little girl. A Terrier Mixed with some Chihuahua. She follows her foster Mom around and loves to have attention.
She was once thrown out like garbage....I can tell tell you Lucy is a diamond in the ruff!!.
If you are looking for a sweet tempered, loving Terrier/Chihuahua, you just couldn't ask for a better pup!.
