I am sure that you have guessed by now why I am called Tortz. Yes, it’s because I am a lovely Tortoiseshell gal. Since I was found wandering alone on the streets, and until some nice folks brought me here, I had no name of my own or home of my own. Now I have a great name, and am hoping for a wonderful forever home. And, you can bet that I am loving the attention I am finally getting after being a poor stray. Come to visit me and I will show you how much I love to be petted and I will do my best to purr my way into your heart and home. I'm a very friendly and social gal that would love to curl up on your lap and cuddle all day. Swing by and see me!

As a Hidden Gem, I get my very own volunteers who spend extra time with me and work with me on basic training needs. That way, I’ll be extra ready to settle into my new home! And, because I’ve been here a little bit longer than my friends, staff have had the opportunity to get to know me really well, and they will gladly answer any questions you may have about me.

As an extra "thank you" for considering taking me home, my adoption fee has been waived*!
