My new name is Jennie and as you can see from my gorgeous coat, I'm a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with bright blue eyes...well, 1-1/2 of them. I weigh about 35 - 40 lbs. and that's a big as I'm going to get. I am already spayed and I'll be up to date on shots when I'm adopted. I'm a very sweet and young (just had my 1st birthday this summer). I'm a girl on the go and SWAT says that's because I'm a  "working breed." Whatever the reason, I would like a home where I have a job...even if it's corralling the kiddos. I am good with dogs, kids and um, maybe cats. I don't really know any personally but I'm a get-a-long kind of girl! Forget the diet, I am awesome at going for walks, and playing outdoors. I am also house trained so after our walk, we can sit on the couch and eat ice cream. Oh, I'm what they called crate trained. After a good day's work, I can curl up and be comfy just about anywhere. I already have some basic manners but I love getting my human's approval which means that I'm very easy to train. My adoption fee is only $35...for this bundle of love  <3  If you've been looking for a girl like me, give Sharon a call at 918-944-9424.

About Saving Whiskers and Tails

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of volunteers that realized the need for a rescue in our area for animals that are considered "last chance." We work with neglected, abused, starved, dumped, abandoned, injured animals. We have rehabed and adopted 2 Great Danes that were days from death because of starvation, a dog that was attacked by Coyotes, 2 gun shot victims, a dog that was purposely set on fire (we couldn't save her but we provided the vetting services for the family). We have rescued at least 50 dogs that have been dumped and abandoned including several mothers and litters that we work to get into rescues out of state.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are all in foster homes. One of our volunteers is always available to introduce prospective families to our pets, by appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

We require the family meets the pets for local adoptions and introduces the pet to their family and other family pets. There is an adoption application. We check references, including vet references. The adoption fee is only our vetting fee and any transportation costs that may be incurred.
