This squishy, beyond adorable face belongs to Sugar! Sugar has met multiple strangers outside of her kennel and has done just fine, however, for some reason while she is in her kennel she becomes a lot less sugar, and a lot more spice! So if you come to meet Sugar, just let us know so we can bring her out of the noisy, stressful kennel environment to meet you!
We believe Sugar is about 2 years old and it is very likely she is house trained based on her behavior here at the shelter. Sugar had an issue with one of her toes being swollen when she was brought in and has been treated, but it is still swollen. However, if you are interested in Sugar, we will work with our vet to ensure it gets rechecked to make sure it is still nothing serious and that the swelling will go away eventually.
Feel free to come meet Sugar, or any of our adoptable animals, anytime we are open, no appointment needed. You may contact us on Facebook, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us at 804-991-3200 if you have any further questions.
