Sugar's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Sugar's Story...
This squishy, beyond adorable face belongs to Sugar! Sugar has met multiple strangers outside of her kennel and has done just fine, however, for some reason while she is in her kennel she becomes a lot less sugar, and a lot more spice! So if you come to meet Sugar, just let us know so we can bring her out of the noisy, stressful kennel environment to meet you!

We believe Sugar is about 2 years old and it is very likely she is house trained based on her behavior here at the shelter.

Feel free to come meet Sugar, or any of our adoptable animals, anytime we are open, no appointment needed. You may contact us on Facebook, email us at pganimals@princegeorgecountyva.gov, or call us at 804-991-3200 if you have any further questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Prince George Pit Bull Terrier/Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Bulldog for sale in Prince George, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Bulldog dog from a breeder in Prince George.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prince George already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prince George breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Bulldog breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Prince George paves the way for another one to be saved.
