Important Note

Willie is best friends with Yoshi. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Willie is an 8 year old beautiful purebred apricot point Siamese, with a snow white coat and orange points..He weighs 8 pounds and 11 ounces. . I think he may have been named for Willie Nelson, because of his big blue eyes, the orange markings on his head and ears and an orange striped tail that looks a lot like Willie’s braid. He is also a good singer. Willie is very affectionate and he likes to be where you are. He will sleep on the bed with you,but after a bit of petting he will settle in quietly.True to his Siamese breed, Willie is quite lively and playful. He was raised with Yoshi, and they are deeply bonded. They are always near each other, and they bump heads and groom each other so they need to go together to a forever home. About Laguna Woods Cat Club Foster/Adoption Program

About Our Rescue Group...

Our organization was started because our local animal shelter does not have space for abandoned and/or lost pets. Laguna Woods is a retirement community and our residents often end up going to assisted living or passing away, and kitties are left homeless. There was a real need for someone to step up and fill this need, so we established a network of foster homes and a website and a petfinder site to advertise our kitties needing homes. We provide an initial vet exam immediately and pay for services including medical care, shots, spay and neuter, etc.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Donations are accepted for both relinquished cats and adopted cats. No specific amount is required.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have boutiques twice a year, in late fall and early spring, to raise funds for our pets. We sometimes have some of our animals at those events. We also have posters with our kitties displayed around our community and we have both our site as well as our petfinder site with photos, discriptions and contact info.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask for an adoption donation of at least $50. but will waive it for adopters that appear to be excellent potential pet parents.
We have a two page information form and do a preliminary home visit. Our adopters must promise to keep the kitty as an indoor only pet and must agree to return the kitty to our organization if they can no longer care for it.
