Pluto is one of three brothers who were brought to the shelter as strays. They are about 8 months of age and are Labrador retriever mixes. These boys are active and when they are together they are very involved in frolicking with one another. They have that typical Lab personality and playful demeanor. My own personal experience with Labs is that they are basically fun dogs, sometimes easily distracted, curious, and childish, but also very loyal companions and comforting pets. Pluto and his brothers are going to need good, loving homes where patience is the rule and the norm. Our Adoption Process...

The fee for adopting a dog is $110.00, no matter the age or gender of the pet. This fee covers the cost of the animal to be spayed/neutered & vaccines: DA2PP, Bordatella, and Rabies. The adoption fee also covers a fecal exam for worms and a heart worm test!

The fee for cats is $110.00 covers spay/neuter, and age appropriate vaccines.

It is very important that you understand that you CANNOT take pets from the shelter and breed them. Most of the animals came in as strays, therefore, we do not have any background or genetic information on them. Breeding these pets would not be in their best interest nor yours. Also, a Law was just passed in Alabama which requires that EVERY animal, adopted from a shelter, MUST be spayed or neutered!!
