We KNOW that Jillian's mom was a purebred Black Labrador Retriever but it's clear her daddy wasn't, and that's the reason why Jilly and her 3 siblings ended up in the situation they're in. Jillian has all the family-loyalty and devotion of a Lab, but she definitely inherited her laid back temperament and those long hound ears from whoever her daddy was! Forget going to the bathroom alone again. For Jillian love means never having to go anywhere alone again!! She is underfoot and never far away -- not because she can't be alone but because she wants to make sure she's included in every aspect of family life! She's happy, healthy, and has the mellow sweetness of the very best hound dog . . .but she just might like to swim, too! Jillian is about 6 months old, she weights a lanky 35 pounds and will probably reach in the 45 - 50 pound range fully grown.
