Sara Lee's Story...
My name is Sara Lee and I'm 3 years old. I'm a little shy but I come around quickly. My mom got very ill and couldn't keep me anymore so I need a new home now! My mom always fed me table food so I'm getting used to eating dog food now but I still love white meat chicken. Some may call me overweight but I like to think of myself as a plus size model! My mom always made me use puppy pads so this is my first time touching my feet to the grass and I'm loving it! I need someone who will
love me for me!

An adoption application MUST be filled out before setting up a meet and greet, here is the link http://www.adoptapet.com/doras-dawgs-and-katz/adoption-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sara Lee, a Houston Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
