Astra's Story...
Lots of Energy and loves people!

Hi my name is Astra. I am about 7 months old now, and I am the only pup from the Halloween litter left.  I am a cattle dog, German Shepherd, Coonhound mix.  I am a blast what can I say..   I LOVE toys! I like to take them into my crate or pile them around me wherever i lay.

I am crate trained and about 75% house broke, we are still working on that.. My foster mom keeps my leash on me in the house that way she can grab it really fast and take me outside when I give the "I have to go" look.   I love other dogs, would not mind cats, and would love to give kids kisses.

Her adoption fee is $250.00, She will go home up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed.  To adopt Astra please fill out an application. http://www.ajssearchandrescue.org/adoption-application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Astra, a Akron Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Akron, or seeking a Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Akron.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Akron already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Akron breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Akron paves the way for another one to be saved.
