Odessa's Story...
Sweet, fun, and playful

Meet Odessa one of the Halloween pups.  She is 5 months old and 20 lbs.  Her parents were a Cattle Dog & a German Shepherd/Coonhound mix.  She is the most out going girl of the bunch but by no means is she too energetic. She is good with other dogs.

She was an outside dog along with her siblings so house breaking has just begun, so far so good. She is being crate trained as well, she still whines at night but is working on it.

Her adoption fee is $300.00, She will go home up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed.  To adopt Odessa please fill out an application. http://www.ajssearchandrescue.org/adoption-application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Odessa, a Akron Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Akron, or seeking a Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Akron.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Akron already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Akron breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Akron paves the way for another one to be saved.
