Facts about Georgette the Gorgeous Golden-Eyed Girl

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 10651124-Tara
  • Hair: Short

Rescued a few months ago outside a Brooklyn building with her three-day-old kittens, Georgette was in need of the kindness of strangers. And she got it! Now that her babies are old enough to be adopted, mama needs a home of her own, too, as reward for being such a great mommy cat.

This gorgeous, golden-eyed kitty is the sweetest girl you will ever meet, head butting your hand for more pets and following you around like a puppy, not a cat. She’s been a fantastic mom—simply the best—and deserves a home of her own where she can be spoiled and pampered, petted and cuddled, forever.

Georgette tested negative for FeLV/FIV and will be spayed and vaccinated as soon as her babies are adopted. If you’d like to meet her or her babies (Magoo and Mobaby, listed separately), contact Tara Green at catsbkny@gmail.com!

Thank you for thinking of animals in need - your support allows us to help the next furry sweetheart!

All Brooklyn Animal Action dogs and cats are available to foster or adopt.

About Brooklyn Animal Action

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please email us at BrooklynAnimalAction@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued cats.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested adopters can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt one of our animals, they must fill out an adoption application. If that is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for a donation to help us continue our work.
