Meet Brix. He is a fun loving guy once he gets to know you. He feels that he has to try to scare you off before he will let you touch him. He is just a big baby once he likes you. Brix loves to play with other dogs so he will need a playmate.
Brix will need a strong family that will work with him on socialization. He lived in an outside pen for 2 1/2 years so he only got to know his family and that was it.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brix, a Denver St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Denver, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
