Sometimes you think you’ve found the perfect family and that all is right in the World. Then just when you get settled in, they pull the rug right out from underneath your sleeping belly. My name’s Mallie and I was just thinking about the time when I got adopted but they returned me because they said I needed too much attention. That was really surprising to the Furkids staff since I always entertain myself with a toy or just sniffing around the yard with the other dogs. I definitely like to be challenged so maybe that’s what they didn’t have time for. I love learning new tasks like “sit”, which I’ve mastered, and any others you’d like to show me. I’m always thinking, contemplating my surroundings but I can’t help being intelligent, it’s just who I am! If you’re looking for the typical slobbery, goofball canine, well that’s not me. I would love to find someone who likes to take long walks since I have remarkable leash skills but also enjoys cozy nights in front of the T.V. I wouldn’t enjoy going to a home with children just because they don’t seem to understand that sometimes I like to be left alone and do my own thing. So if you happen to be an energetic, introspective thinker like me, maybe we should get you on my schedule for a meet and greet. If we put our heads together, who knows what we could accomplish? (PS. In the video on my page, I’m addressed as Mallie which is my full given name but nobody really calls me that because I’m a hero, not a villain!)
Since Mallie’s estimated birthdate is 12/15/2014, her adoption fee is $275 [senior citizens (age 62 and older) and military personnel receive a 25% discount on adoption fees]. If you want to know more about Mallie and to speak to an Adoption Counselor, please complete an application at https://furkids.org/dog-adoptions/application. Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
