My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Tony! I am a handsome 2 yr old black and white wavy coat Terrier/Cocker Spaniel blend who weighs 12 lbs. I’m a great little guy who is looking for a wonderful mature person (with a quiet home), preferably a lady, to call my own. She can dote on me every day and I can cuddle and give good kisses in return. I love to go for walks and play with toys. My current foster home is on a ranch. I love to go out to the barn and help with chores. I have good manners around the horses, cows and even the pet pig. My foster mom can tell you that I am loyal and very loving. She describes me as a low/medium energy guy who is good in the house, and enjoys being out in the yard. Tony would be a great traveling companion, hiking or camping buddy.

Like most dogs at 3R Rescue, Tony is attending dog school every week. He is learning all his basic commands very quickly because he is eager to please. Tony walks great on a leash and loves to take rides in the car. He also is quite good at retrieving the ball – any ball including golf balls. Please see Tony’s video “Tony the Caddie”.

Tony does not get along with cats (Terrier) and shows fear of small children and large dogs. Tony would prefer a quiet home where he is the only dog or has a companion his size so he can have ample time with his human.

Tony is amazingly smart and has the heart of a Great Dane. He has had a rough go in life so far and certainly deserves a second chance. Won’t you consider opening your heart and home to him? He will show his gratitude and be a great companion for years to come.

He is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on all shots and started in basic obedience training. For more information go to www.3rrescue.org, email 3rrescue@gmail.com or phone 707-529-4643.
