White Stripe's Story...
This 11 week old fella is White Stripe. So...you think it's not so difficult to figure out how he got his name? Just because White Stripe has a white stripe down his nose doesn't mean that's the reason he's called White Stripe. Not at all. It's just because this cool little kitten loves the band White Stripes. White Stripe spends all his time lying upside down while listening to White Stripes on his smart phone. But when White Stripe is not rockin and rollin to that intense guitar/drum beat he's ready to play with his 7 sisters and brothers...or chase those fuzzy mice around the house...or climb up the side of the cat tree...or take a nap in the palm of your hand. White Stripe is a very cool little guy.

White Stripe is one of 8 kittens born to a homeless pregnant mom cat who was taken in by a nice Cattitude Inc volunteer. So all of the babies were born in a safe, friendly place. White Stripe was hand raised.

Want to meet this happy kitty? That's easy. Just send an email inquiry to njcattitude@gmail.com - one of our friendly volunteers will respond pretty darn quick. OR...you can meet White Stripe in person at one of our Saturday adoption events in the Piscataway PetCo {1333 Centennial Avenue} between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

White Stripe is neutered - up to date on distemper vaccinations - tested negative for fiv/felv.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

White Stripe, a Highland Park Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Highland Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Highland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Highland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Highland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Highland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
