PawPaw's Story...
Hello! My name is Pawpaw. I am an 8+ year old Cocker Spaniel boy who has finally found what it means to be loved. Pawpaw found himself in a shelter, alone, scared, and in bad shape. You see, Pawpaw had fleas so bad, he lost most of the hair on his back. He is also deaf. Despite all of this, he has been nothing but sweet. Pawpaw loves to wear a warm sweater to keep him comfortable. He is a bit of a couch potato and hopes his new family will enjoy having a snuggle buddy on the couch. He is house trained and crate trained. He is an easy keeper and is just looking for a retirement home! He is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

My Adoption Fee is $200.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PawPaw, a Florence Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Florence, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Florence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Florence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Florence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Florence paves the way for another one to be saved.
