Banjo: Age:2 yr old; Sex: Male; Weight: 45 lbs; Activity Level: Active Companion/Companion; Border Collie Rough Coat. Introducing Mr Banjo a fun loving Border Collie who enjoys company and fun!! ***Banjo REALLY NEEDS US NOW 4 ADOPTER. Rescue is TX Based (About Section!!)Transport Fees Applicable***Yes he really likes to have his people time: loves to take walks or a jog, would make an excellent anxiety support dog; enjoys chasing squirrels in a wooden fenced yard, a steady home that is not multi partnered (more than 3 adults) and one child over 6 suits him well! His current foster home loves him to pieces but a little too much activity for Banjo to have the close time he desires. Banjo who is fully vetted/crate and house trained has found: pack leadership with his foster mom; enjoys going to work at her chiropractic office and visiting with clients and for the physical therapy time; takes long walks along the river; running fun errands with the immediate family and trips to the dog park. He would make a great RV dog/travel companion as new adventures on leash bring him closer to his people as much as he would enjoy an active retried family or an interactive family who liked to enjoy the busy in life time with their 4 legged companion. Banjo is great on a leash, crates nicely, house trained, enjoys some ball and toy play. For Banjo his journey to his forever home would be a home either worked from home or a hearty break during a work day; he could do an apartment or a house just keep the environmental fun stimulating; 1 child 6 + who wanted that close relationship with their pup would suit him. If you travel and were looking for a hiking buddy Banjo could go faster or slower you show him the speed!! If you’re an out of state applicant we want the best possible match and we may want to arrange home visit if applicable; application of course***Lowered Adoption donation $200 + Transport Vetting $35-$50 + Transport Rescue Cooperation Ride $175 (For all Rescue Dogs Leaving From State 2 State we Can't Provide This Service)

About At Home Houston Border Collie Rescue - Columbus Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

The mission for this rescue is for border collie breed, border collie mixes, and other herding dogs that has been mistreated, misunderstood, and left behind to struggle with uncertain options. There are too many to rescue that need experienced breed rescue support, love, guidance to be stronger and better than ever before! I take my time with my rescues, most are fostered in my home with my personal dogs, to access them in as many situations in life and developing what they need to achieve beyond what the past was given to them. The At Home Houston Border Collie Rescue is a strong family here to continue in your pups path as life moves forward.

Our Adoption Process...

All dogs are fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested and on heart-worm prevention, they live inside the home as a family. All adopters are guided through the process of which their dog is at with their training/health during time of adoption and how best to proceed with tools given for that dogs future. All dogs adoption donation $250 unless noted otherwise noted in the bio. There an adoption application to be filled out, home visit where applicable, meet and greet, sometimes spend the nights for very special pups, adoption contract to be filled out and spay/neuter contracts when a dog is under 6 months of age or not fully developed for best growth potential. I go above and beyond in health; nutrition; and training in the living environment developing the dog for a better tomorrow.
