Belle is a beautiful 9-year-old, 20 pound Boston Terrier. She is a fun loving girl who loves to go for walks and strolls around the neighborhood. She loves car rides and adventures. She is a great travel companion. However she also is content to hang out in the house and snooze in the sunshine if that's more your pace. She is an easy-going girl who loves to be close to her humans. She knows a few tricks, and loves to entertain you. Belle is housebroken, and is trusted out free in the home when left alone. She is a quiet girl and would do fine in an apartment. She is a healthy girl and recently got a dental and bloodwork so she is in tip top shape. Belle is good with cats and even larger birds like free-ranging chickens. She is good with other dogs out and about, but will need to be the only dog in the house as she doesn't like when dogs get too wild. Belle is looking for a laid back home, and prefers older kids, over about 10. Belle is looking for her forever family, someone who can handle all the love and snuggles she has to give.If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at www.caws.org.

About Community Animal Welfare Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded in 1992 the Community Animal Welfare Society ( CAWS) is one of the oldest no-kill animal rescues in Utah. Over the last 20 years CAWS, our fosters and supporters have saved thousands of lives including over 600 last this year. As the largest foster home network in the state of Utah we focus on high risk pets in need of additional care and rehabilitation

Come Meet Our Pets...

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. For additional information regarding how you, too, can become a foster, please see our fostering page located on our web site!

CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.

Our Adoption Process...

Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.
