Pepper's Story...
Name: Pepper
Breed: Rat Terrier
Age: Senior
Gender: Female

Pepper is a 10 years young very healthy little Rat Terrier, and her solid little body and grey eyebrows quirking at you will make you smile every time you look at her. Surrendered due to a move, Pepper came to us house trained, crate trained, confident and social. She's good with kids, dogs and cats. Pepper is very excited to go for about a mile walk and then come home and curl up with you. Her entire reason for living is to make you happy and she will work so hard to do so. She is older, but healthy, and likely has several more healthy years to share with someone. We've been rescuing dogs for a long time, and there's something special about this one.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Minneapolis Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
