Dutchess's Story...
Dutchess is a beautiful mushy girl just waiting to be loved. Her best friend is a tiny chihuahua. Dutchess is about 60 lbs but that does not stop Tiny from telling her what to do. This loving girl has a soft spot for children of any age. She loves to give them her belly or romp around in the backyard. She is very gentle and will snuggle with your little ones at night - if you let her. The vet gave Dutchess a clean bill of health and the vet techs all wished they could take her home. We know that Dutchess is great with kids and other dogs, she as not met a cat yet. She does know how to behave in the house. You will never need to crate this sweet girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutchess, a Manhasset American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Manhasset, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Manhasset.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhasset already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhasset breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhasset paves the way for another one to be saved.
