Georgie Porgie's Story...
Georgie Porgie is a 9 year young dignified gentleman hoping to find his final forever home. Georgie has had many homes throughout his life, through no fault of his own! Georgie is a wonderful cat, who loves to be held and coddled. He is a very clean cat and would like to find a loving owner that will adopt him for keeps this time!

Georgie is considered special needs because he has developed diabetes. MRFRS will help with the cost of his medication and show you everything you need to know. If you know how special orange and white cats are, and want to be the one to let Georgie have a forever home this time around, come in to meet this sweet boy!

Georgie Porgie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgie Porgie, a Salisbury Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Salisbury, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Salisbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salisbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salisbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salisbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
