Roadie is believed to be a one year old Beagle/Lab mix. He was found running down the middle of an empty highway during the hottest part of summer. A very Good Samaritan stopped to give him water and Roadie jumped in his truck. Due to the circumstances and Roadie's body language, behavior and his starved and dehydrated condition, he was assumed to have been dumped. Photo # 3 was taken the day of rescue. Photos # 2 & 4 were a few days later. When it became obvious no one was looking for him, Roadie came into rescue. He is a very sweet and affectionate boy. Roadie loved his rescuer's toddler and 5 year old. He played well with the other dogs in the household and ignored the cat. He weighs 30 pounds and is crate trained, neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm/flea preventive. Roadie's adoption fee is a tax deductible donation to the rescue in the amount of $450.
