Rocky's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rocky's Story...
When Rocky first arrived December 2014, he was a little shy meeting new people and sadly he's been overlooked. Rocky has come along way and now enjoys making new friends! He is a sweet dog and would make a great low-key companion. Rocky enjoys taking leisurely walks and would really enjoy a nice quiet place to call home where he can be the only pet.
Rocky recently attended basic training. He is a mellow guy and was at great ease and met all of his training goals! Please ask to see Rocky outside of his kennel so you can see his soft and sweet personality.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Wilmington American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
