APRIL - CUTIE PATOOTIE TERRIER PUPPY
Estimated dob July 1st, 2016.

April is a 3 month old, 5 lb terrier mix puppy. She is expected to weigh about 10-15 pounds at maturity. At 8 weeks old, she and her brother, Joey were found running around in the streets before being turned in at the shelter.

She is an energetic, intelligent dog that loves being challenged to think. She learned to sit and lie down within minutes and is completely puppy-pad trained at the moment. She is also crate trained but given her young age, she cannot hold for more than 4-5 hours during the day but she does hold in overnight. Potty training her should be a breeze!

She loves to play tag with her brother Joey and squeaky toys are her favorite. She would never say no to a tiring game of tug of war and almost knows to play fetch. She likes to tease the other person by not bringing the toy back to them right away and would sit at a distance just enough to be out of your reach.

She is not a lap dog but never says no to a good rub now and then. She has been socialized around people and different dogs, and is very friendly. Given her young age and her energy level, she would probably be perfect for a family with older children.
If you are looking for a smart puppy who loves to play and roll around in the grass, look no further!

Anyone interested in our dogs must be over 21. We are only able to adopt to homes within a 30 miles radius from zip code 75082 and please be prepared for a home visit by one of our volunteers.
