Dr. Dre's Story...

Dr. Dre is a small guy who loves BIG! He ADORES people and is a goofy, fun-loving fellow!

Now, Dr. Dre does have a sensitive stomach, so he needs food that agrees with his tummy, but that's easy enough to get for him. And he is a love biter, but responds VERY WELL to a hurt-sounding kitten mew and stops IMMEDIATELY. In fact, we think he love bites just because he's so excited when he gets visitors, he just goes a little over the top with is loving. But the moment you let him know it's not appropriate (because you made a kitten mew sound), he stops with the teeth and goes right back to nuzzling and cuddling. This behavior will likely improve greatly when he has a proper home with more things to do and more people to love.

Looking for a fantastically friendly cat? Stop in to meet Dr. Dre today!

Dr. Dre has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the $65 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $5.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dr. Dre, a Seville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Seville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Seville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seville paves the way for another one to be saved.
