Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Honey's story:
Honey is a 4 to 5 year old female Rottweiler who weighs approximately 80 pounds. She was surrendered to the rescue when her owners could no longer provide care for her.
She was an outdoor dog who slept in the garage at night. She is slowly becoming accustomed to being an indoor dog. She appears to be mostly house trained but still has occasional accidents. She also does well when crated.
She has a very sweet temperament and enjoys being around adults and children alike. She is other dog friendly with well-mannered dogs after proper introductions, but does not prefer dogs that are too rambunctious or get in her face. She does not like cats and is looking for a cat-free home. She is not food or toy aggressive.
Honey had a lot of land at her previous home and she LOVES to run! Her foster thinks she prefers running over walking! She walks okay on lead but can suddenly pull a lot when she tries to take off on a sprint. She will need continued leash work after she is adopted.
Honey is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and is microchipped. She is looking for her new forever home. If you're looking to add a little sweetness to your life, Honey may be just the dog for you!
