Blue is hoping that you will adopt him...he wants to be yours!
8/29/16: Blue is very friendly to other dogs and people (unknown how he is with cats) and loves to play. He loves any kind of toy, playing fetch and tug of war with them. Because of his size and energy, he would not be recommended to be around little kids . He is a Beagle mix but he is bigger than a Beagle at about 50 pounds. Blue is house trained, kennel trained, and neutered. He is in his kennel when we go to work and he has kept it clean every day when we get home.
If you are looking for a mellow, laid back dog, Blue is NOT the dog for you. Blue needs to be an active boy and being a young dog, he has a lot of energy and needs someone who will help him burn it off and will continue with his training. He is doing well with walking on a leash with an Easy Walk harness. At one year old, Blue demonstrates some puppy behaviors, which we are working on (include jumping on people when he is excited, counter surfing, and getting mouthy with play). A home with a fenced in yard where he can run and another large, friendly dog that he can run around with, would be the perfect home for him. Blue's forever family must be willing to continue training; they will be rewarded with a goofy, fun dog!
