Colin's Story...
Colin
12 weeks
Brown Tabby

Colin is a gentle, loving kitten that’s not totally confident yet. It’s been a few weeks since he was rescued from a dirty garage, so he’s still getting used to home life. However, Colin is calm and accepting and really enjoys pets and kisses. He’s shy at first, but when he’s nestled in your arms, he relaxes and purrs. He loves to play and when he isn’t batting around his toys, he climbs to the top shelf of the cat tree to gaze outside.

His ideal home would be quiet with gentle cat people who will give him the extra TLC he needs, and better yet, a home with other friendly cats that can show him the ropes. Colin is fully vetted and microchipped and ready to blossom in your home and heart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Colin, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
