I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Divita's Story...
Divita is a coonhound mix from Virginia - she loves everyone she meets! Divita's foster say she's a goofy, funny girl. She's good with other dogs and is also good around cats. Divita is housebroken and crate-trained. She has been known to climb fence corners, so is not a candidate for being left alone in a fenced yard. Divita is 2 - 3 yrs old and weighs 40 - 45 lbs.
Davita has arrived and is ready for visits.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Divita, a Lexington Coonhound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Lexington, or seeking a Coonhound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Lexington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lexington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lexington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Coonhound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lexington paves the way for another one to be saved.
