Chloe's Story...
Meet Chloe. This sweet girl lost her eye to Glaucoma but has adjusted just fine. She came to us from Tijuana where her owners moved and threw her out of the house. Chloe was very confused by their heartlessness and continued to live/wait outside the house for them. So heartbreaking. Some neighbors would feed her and give her water while she waited for weeks. That past is behind her now and she is ready to find her forever home here in the States! Chloe is about 3 years old, LOVES affection and would do best as an only dog or in a home with a dog that doesn't challenge her. She is also a petite gal, under 25 pounds. Chloe's adoption fee is $200 and She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and ready for her forever family. If you would like to give this girl the second chance she so deserves, please fill out an online adoption application: https://www.theanimalpad.org/adopt-today-form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a San Diego Border Collie/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Cattle Dog for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Border Collie/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
