Sheba's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Sheba's Story...
Sheba was one of the lucky dogs who spent Christmas at the sleepover at a foster home. The foster parents said she might be a bit unsettled at first, but once she knows you, she’ll warm up quickly. She is quiet, curious and loves to follow people around. She slept nicely through the night and loves her cuddle-time. Sheba is good with other dogs and with people. She loves her toys, but maybe a bit too much....they don’t last long. She is probably housebroken. Sheba would do best in a home where her family is around and she is not left alone for long periods of time. Sheba is 1 yr old and has been at the shelter since Sep 21, 2016. Sheba has a grade 3-4 heart murmur. SHEBA - ID#A406764

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheba, a Santa Maria Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Santa Maria, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Santa Maria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Maria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Maria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Maria paves the way for another one to be saved.
