KATIE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Katie Breed: Shepherd mix
Approximate Age: 1.5 SEX: female
Approximate Weight: 30 lbs
Has Lived With: other dogs
Currently Living at: SHELTER. Katie needs a foster home, or even better yet, a forever home!
Katie is a beautiful 1.5 year old Shepherd mix. She weighs about 30 lbs and, because of her age, is done growing. We don't know how this sweet girl ended up in a shelter but she can't wait to arrive in the DC area and find her forever family!
Katie is a young dog and will need plenty of exercise and playtime each day to be a happy and healthy pup. She would love to go on long walks and regular trips to the dog park. After she's tuckered out, Katie loves curling up for a nice nap and belly rub. She can't wait to go to obedience training with her new family so that she can bond with her people and become her very best self!
Katie is good with other dogs so she'd be a great addition to an existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog. The nice folks at Lucky Dog don't know how Katie is with young children or cats but if you're interested, let us know and we can try to find out!
Like most shelter dogs, Katie may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Meg H at email@example.com
