Lemon's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lemon's Story...
Lemon is a beautiful kitten with gorgeous blue eyes and an incredible purrsonality. He cuddles with enthusiasm and loves attention. He does play when not cuddling and gets along well with other cats and has been around dogs before. However, he comes with a past...

He was dropped off at a veterinary hospital supposedly found as a stray - but we suspect he was abandoned by his parents because he was having issues. He was completely unable to urinate - probably due to trauma to the tip of his penis. With a urinary catheter and assorted medications, he was gotten through his crisis and after a week or two, has been doing great. When he was neutered, we examined him and his penis has adhered to his prepuce at a weird angle. It isn't bothering him at all now and he urinates completely normally - but there is a decent chance that he will further issues in the future and may need a perineal urethrostomy - where a surgeon revises the opening to his urethra. This should resolve problems completely - but it would be better for him not to go through this until he is an adult and it is moderately expensive.

So, he's hoping that he can find a hero to adopt him as he is and be able to assure us that if problems happen down the road they can and will address them so he can have the long and full life he deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lemon, a Santa Rosa Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Santa Rosa, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Santa Rosa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Rosa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Rosa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Rosa paves the way for another one to be saved.
