Facts about LB Wallace

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: C-16-10-08-01
  • Hair: Short
LB Wallace was trapped in south city while he was living out of a garage with his colony and eating out of the alley. He was nicknamed "Lint Ball" (hence the LB) by one volunteer since he was just this tiny fuzzball in the back of the trap, resembling dryer lint. Then he was called "Wallace" by another volunteer, so I just decided to combine the names. He was loaded with fleas and worms upon intake, but seemed to be ok. However, he made a fast decline all of a sudden and his weight decreased to 1 pound, but we nursed him back to health. He's now about 3 months old and just hit four pounds! He's an all around happy, very outgoing, spunky kitty who is both cat and dog friendly. In fact, he and my dog play tag! LB would make a great family cat, since he's both very playful and affectionate. I would think he would do well with kids too, although he has not yet been exposed to any. He's just a rough and tumble happy, typical kitten. He has already been combo tested negative and gets fixed after the Thanksgiving holiday. If you have any questions or would like to meet this pet, please email Information about the rescue and adoption process can also be found at along with a full listing of our adoptable pets.

About St. Louis Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.

We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
