Tatum, aka, little ‘tater tot’ was one of four babies brought to the shelter with his mom in May. In foster care with his mom and three siblings for the past two months, Tatum (now about 13 weeks) is ready to find his forever home. Tatum is a bit bashful at first, but when he warms up, he loves to run in circles (11 times is his record) chasing his favorite laser light toy. In fact, he’ll chase anything that moves, or even doesn’t move – from the annoying moth that flies into the house in the evening, to the random water bottle cap he finds lying around, Tatum is content to keep himself busy. He also loves sneaking up behind his brother and launching surprise attacks. But Tatum also loves to nap. His foster family has a little kitty hammock that has always been a favorite spot for him to take a snooze.
Tatum is a little fearful of his foster family’s golden and gets a little jumpy when he hears a loud noise. He might do well in a quieter home with no other pets or one other cat or kitten. In fact, his brother and mama are also available for adoption so if you’re looking to keep a family together, check out Juniper’s and Sawyer’s profiles. Either way, he will be blessed to find someone who has a lot of love for him. Tatum has been neutered, micro-chipped, and is up to date on his vaccinations. If you have questions about Tatum, please feel free to contact his foster mom at dschnupp65@gmail.com
