I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Braxton's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Braxton's Story...
This handsome boy is Braxton. He's 2 ½ years old, cropped (although one ear does not stand) adding to his charming personality), docked and neutered. He's fully house trained and has good house manners.

Braxton is a very lovable guy who really thinks he deserves to be a lap dog. He loves to sit next to you or lie down on the couch with you and get pets and cuddles.

Braxton has been professionally trained in basic obedience (but not to CD standards) and to deal with some of his reactivity issues. He needs an experienced handler to continue his obedience training so he does not regress. We would prefer that he attend more obedience classes to hone his obedience and socialization skills.

Braxton is good with large female dogs but will not be suitable with male or smaller dogs. He is good with young adults but not children.

We suggest a home in a quiet area with limited distractions. Braxton requires a physical fenced (not invisible) yard or an owner willing and able to leash walk him several times a day.

Are you man or woman enough to gain this demanding and extremely smart dog’s respect? If so, we would love to have you meet Braxton. He is being fostered on Maryland and the foster family may be able to travel do a meet/greet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Braxton, a Oxford Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Oxford, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
