Suki - pending adoption's Story...
Suki is the sweetest little 6 yr old shih tzu. She weighs 11 lbs and is just one of the most precious dogs you will meet. She is house and leash trained, loves to go on walks and ride in the car, gets along with the other dogs but loves people and wants to be where you are. She's a great little lap dog and will find a chair or something soft to sleep on. She is going to be the perfect little companion for someone.

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suki - pending adoption, a Norwalk Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
