Aiden has been friendly with most of the people he has met however he is very timid around men. He has been able to warm up to the male volunteers who have taken the time to handle him however he does take a bit longer. He is extremely friendly with everyone he knows and is a very loving dog. It is obvious that Aiden lacks socialization and diverse handling which is something we are working to remedy but will need to be continued in a new home.
Aiden is having a lot of fun playing with other dogs and is very tolerate even with the troublemakers. It took him a moment to figure out the whole play thing but he is a very rambunctious and goofy boy in the play yard. Aiden has shown no reactivity when being introduced to other dogs and has been friendly overall. Aiden has not been introduced to cats at this moment however we can do so upon request.
Aiden is a half polished diamond right now - he has amazing potential but hasn't had the best start at things. He was well loved among the shelter staff who cared for him and stole the heart of our volunteers as well. Aiden would make an amazing agility or sport dog prospect - he has no hesitation climbing on strange surfaces and is very eager to please. He is going to require a home dedicated to his continued socialization and training but he promises to give lots of kisses in return.
