Kahlua is an 8 year old collie/shepherd mix. She is very loving, adventurous and playful. She’s a “pound” puppy and I’ve had her since she was around 6 months old. Living in FL, we had 3 acres in which she could run and play whenever she wanted. But in moving to Vegas, we’re living in an apartment and she is not happy being cooped up in a small area. She loves to travel (does very well in the car and on extended road trips), will chase balls and loves bones and dog biscuits. Her favorite game is chasing the light from a flashlight. She will sit on command, knows how to “shake” and obeys very well. She will cuddle up with you on the couch or bed, but sleeps on the floor; as soon as the lights are turned off, she jumps to the floor. She gets along well with bigger dogs and cats, but can be a little skittish around “yappy” smaller dogs. She hates storms and any type of alarm. She will immediately come for “protection” if she hears any of those. She is spayed and all her shots are up to date. She has brought several years of joy to my life, but her happiness is the most important thing to me, and I know she will have a fuller and happier life with more space.
