Brighton's Story...
hi, I'm Brighton! My sissy Bristol and I came to St. Francis when we were just tiny babies and still had to be fed by the bottle! Now we are bigger and eating all on our own like big girls. I am hoping to find a forever home that comes with lots of toys and a kitty friend to play with. I am super playful with lots of energy and that is what will make me happiest. My sister is pretty cute too, so maybe you would consider adopting a pair! I am super snuggly and sweet and love to be cuddled and kissed. I also love to hear my foster mommy say "i love you" makes me purr. I hope to hear that from a forever family real soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brighton, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
